Gary will fight to restore the funding that once made North Carolina a shining beacon for public education in the Southeast. In recent years, under G.O.P. leadership, our state has experimented with our children’s future through so-called “School Choice” and “Opportunity Scholarships.” That gamble has drained resources from free, public, and diverse classrooms — and our students and teachers are paying the price.
Gary believes our children deserve better than failed experiments. He will go to work for our students, educators, and families so North Carolina can once again lead the South and serve every child well.
